A small contingent from our clubs took part in this large all styles tournament at Carnival city on 22 October. It was an interesting experience. Our members all performed well. We took gold in many divisions including the black belt advanced low kick continuous sparring. It takes some getting used to their rules so some were unfortunately disqualified even though their performances were excellent. All in all it was a good experience for the fighters. We will do it again. We will always use it as a competition to help our ITF rules sparring albeit needing some getting used to the different rules for judging. We will always look at it as a good experience gainer. Well done to all who took part. You did us proud!
